Users' Meeting 2011

Over the last years Borgwaldt KC’s Users’ Meeting has become a constant event. Approximately every three years we invite the Users of our instruments to join us for the Users’ Meeting. After 2005 and 2008, it was time for the next meeting in Hamburg which took place from 28th to 29th June, 2011.
The conference was divided into two parts. The first day was focused on Borgwaldt KC’s Smoking Machines accompanied by the presentation about intensive smoking, the testing of Fire safe standard cigarettes as well as the introduction of the new linear LX20 smoking machine. The afternoon was based on a workshop where the customers had the opportunity to operate the smoking machines themselves. For the evening we organized a special dinner in Hagenbeck’s Aquarium in front of the shark atoll. What an experience!
The second day was dedicated to Borgwaldt KC’s test stations and physical instruments. The Users Meeting ended in the evening with a harbor cruise and a visit to a private brewery with all our guests.
The Users Meeting was followed by our In-House Exhibition on June 30 and July 1. We presented a detailed appraisal of technical changes, improvements and developments that have been implemented in the recent year.
Both events were a great success. More than 50 participants followed our invitation and we hope that you will come and join our next Borgwaldt KC’s Users’ Meeting.
