Contrap^®

The Contrap is a variant of the pheromone trap. It was developed for monitoring warehouses and containers.

The application is versatile:

• for early detection and localization (monitoring)
• for determining the level of infestation
• for measuring the success of other countermeasures.

Container monitoring: As part of standard shipping procedures for raw tobacco, a trap should be placed in the container.

If there is evidence of infestation upon arrival, countermeasures should be initiated.
