Jubilee at Borgwaldt KC – the hundredth Smoking Machine RM200A

Rotary smoking continues to be a success story for Borgwaldt KC. In November the hundredth fully automatic Smoking Machine RM200A has been built in Borgwaldt KC’s facility in Hamburg, Germany. The RM200A was launched to the market in 2006 as the second generation of fully automatic rotary smoking machine and successor of the RM200. In about 5 years of production one hundred machines were finished. Just for comparison, to build this quantity of RM200 smoking machines took Borgwaldt KC more than 8 years.
Offering a high degree of automation and operator friendliness RM200A is predestined for routine smoking and determination of tar, nicotine and CO. The achievements in rotary smoking are however an inducement and obligation for Borgwaldt KC to take changing regulations and requirements seriously into consideration. The probably forthcoming revision of smoking related methods and standards towards intense smoking regimes is a challenge we are happy to accept. It is our aim to develop for our customers a smoking machine well engineered for purpose while maintaining the high level of automation, efficiency, operator friendliness and reliability our customers are used to.
Having reached the number of one hundred RM200A is a valuable acknowledgement for Borgwaldt KC and also a perfect timing to express our sincere thanks to our customers and clients. Without your support and decision to use RM200A for your routine smoking tasks we would never have had the opportunity to manufacture this significant quantity of machines.
