The tobacco beetle and the tobacco moth represent two of the biggest threats to your tobacco. We have developed a very simple and yet highly reliable method for ensuring that it is optimally protected against infestation: the pheromone trap. It consists of a sticky trap and two attractant capsules that contain a sexual attractant – a so-called pheromone. This substance produced by the scent glands of the insects ensures that the males are attracted. Borgwaldt Flavor pheromone traps release this substance in a controlled dosage – thus luring the insects into the trap where they are then caught in the glue. Through timely detection, you can not only combat infestation, but also cut costs considerably.
